Cyberjaya 13th January 2009. Obvious savings benefit of RM40mil by the Government of Malaysia (GOM) from using Open Source Software (OSS) is definitely a stronger driving catalyst for GOM to adopt OSS. Today OSCC MAMPU received a visit from Cabinet, Constitution and Government Relation Division, Prime Minister Department to learn more about MyMeeting. The visit was led by Puan Farah Adura, Division Head with five other members, chaired by Madam Tan King Ing, MAMPU Deputy Director and other members from MAMPU and OSCC. MyMeeting, product developed by OSCC MAMPU is a web-based paperless meeting management & monitoring system. It is the only solution in the market conformed to GOM meeting requirements & needs as per Pekeliling Kemajuan Pentadbiran Awam Bilangan 2 – Panduan Pengurusan Mesyuarat dan Urusan Jawatankuasa-jawatankuasa Kerajaan. MyMeeting was originally developed for Government Information Technology And Internet Committee (GITIC) committee meeting. This committee meeting is chaired by the Chief Secretary Of Malaysia which discusses the implementation of government IT policies and the members are from every government agency in Malaysia.
