[Training] New training on Joomla! Content Management System (CMS) Print

Since early Jan 2008 there have been a number of request on information for content management systems (CMS) and in particular Joomla.

A three day programme is introduced to allow IT personnel to understand better features of a CMS and have hands on experience on using Joomla. In particular the following items made up the main content
  1.  What is CMS?
  2. Various CMS available
  3. Installing Joomla!
  4. Administering Joomla!
  5. Installing Joomla extensions
  6. Installing Joomla templates

Joomla! 1.5 is a relatively new version with many advantages over other CMS and the older Joomla! It is one of the most popular used CMS.

A total of 27 persons from several agencies attended the programme and have showed keen interest to use a CMS to managed their contents. There were agencies using different type CMS and now Joomla! became one of the considered CMS.
