Visit by Delegation of Meraka E-Skills Institute, South Africa to OSCC, MAMPU Delegate from Meraka E-Skills Institute, South Africa gave Open Source Competency Centre (OSCC), MAMPU a visit on 15 April 2008 (Tuesday) at 10.00am. They are establishing an e-Skills Institute in order to educate on ICT skills in South Africa. One of the faculties of the Institute will focus on ICT for Government, providing e-skills training to people whom want to work in the civil service sector as well as training for civil servants. They are also preparing for a system for e-Government delivery. The delegation consists of various government departments including communications, labour, science and technology, public service & administration and education.
