The OSCC Certification Body will be the first Malaysia certification body to spearhead the OSS human resource development through recognition of OSS expertise in the country. This body will issue Certification of Competency to recognise OSS skills int he Public Sector. This new function will fuel the drive to accelerate the OSS adoption in the Public Sector.

To encourage a base standard of OSS knowledge among Public Sector, the body issues several certificates after successfully completing relevant training and assessments. Assessments will include written test and a project submission or presentation. The body will conduct among others the following four certification programmes for OSS Network Administrators, OSS Developers and OSS users.
